(“Tarsus” or “Company”), commits to operating ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and declares that we have established a comprehensive compliance program. To the best of our knowledge and based on a good faith understanding of the statutory requirements of California Health and Safety Code §119400 – 119402, the Tarsus compliance program meets the requirements of establishing a comprehensive compliance program under the statute.
Tarsus is committed to setting high corporate ethical standards while providing quality products and services that comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. To further our commitment to these values, Tarsus has adopted a Code of Conduct, which serves as an affirmation of ethical principles that guide Tarsus’s business decisions and interactions. The Code of Conduct applies to all Tarsus employees and establishes expectations that every employee will act in accordance with applicable laws and Company policies.
As part of our Code of Conduct, and as a foundation for our comprehensive compliance program, Tarsus has also established written healthcare compliance policies and procedures to support adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes of conduct. Tarsus has derived its policies, in part, based on the principles contained in the current version of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (“PhRMA”) “Code on Interactions with Health Care Professionals” and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General’s “Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.”
In Accordance with California Health and Safety Code, Tarsus has established a specific annual dollar limit per Health Care Professional (HCP) for meals or other items of value that Tarsus may appropriately provide to an individual HCP practicing in the State of California, subject to permitted exclusions under the statute.
